Dior's J'adore Eau de Parfum Infinissime is an opulent, solar, and deeply sensual flanker that reimagines the iconic, bright J'adore DNA. Launched in 2020 and composed by master perfumer François Demachy, this fragrance takes the classic, fresh floral bouquet of the original and infuses it with an intoxicating, creamy warmth.
The Scent ProfileWhile the original J'adore is famous for its crisp, dewy mix of jasmine, pear, and melon, Infinissime drops the aquatic fruits entirely. Instead, it leans heavily into an oriental floral profile that behaves like a warm, sun-kissed bouquet draped in rich woods.
Top Notes: Blood Orange, Bergamot, and Pink Pepper. It opens with a vibrant, slightly spicy zest. The blood orange introduces a juicy, dark citrus sparkle that feels significantly warmer and less sharp than the citrus in the original.
Heart Notes: Grasse Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine Sambac, Centifolia Rose, and Lily-of-the-Valley. The absolute star here is the Grasse Tuberose. Rather than being a screechy or green white floral, it is processed via traditional enfleurage techniques to yield a buttery, velvety, and incredibly smooth richness. Combined with ylang-ylang, the heart feels golden, exotic, and thick.
Base Notes: Sandalwood. The dry down relies on a creamy, high-quality sandalwood that deepens the florals. It leaves a lingering, subtly sweet, and comforting woodiness on the skin.
