OZZY OSBOURNE - FEAT. RANDY RHOADS FLYING HIGH FOREVER

Less than a year after this Recording, Randy Rhoads was gone.
June 4, 1981. Indianapolis. The Blizzard of Ozz tour in full flight — Ozzy unleashed from Black Sabbath, raw and hungry and fronting the most exciting band in heavy metal. And beside him, Randy Rhoads. Twenty-four years old. Already operating at a level that had no business existing in a world where the rest of us were still catching up.
The neoclassical phrasing. The precision. The effortless command of an instrument that he treated like a conversation rather than a competition. Every night on that tour Rhoads proved that what he was doing was not just guitar playing.
This soundboard recording is one of the finest preserved documents of early solo Ozzy in existence — clean, powerful, and unforgiving in the best possible way. Ozzy at his most charismatic. The band locked and lethal. And Rhoads at his peak, on a stage he should have stood on for decades more.
This is what was lost. And this is what remains.
