Elkjøp is transforming its Supply Chain to build a more integrated, data-driven and scalable planning organisation. To help us implement and execute on our new Supply Chain strategy we are looking for a Senior Manager, Operational Planning. This role will lead one of our Nordic planning teams and take end-to-end responsibility for demand, replenishment, inventory and availability across a large and dynamic product portfolio.

You will lead a team of approximately 10 planners and coordinators and report to the Head of Supply & Demand Planning. Together with a peer planning team, you will cover the full Nordic assortment across 400+ stores and our digital channels.

This is a role for someone who combines strong planning expertise, people leadership, commercial understanding and analytical thinking — and who wants to improve how planning is done at scale.

What you will do

• Lead and develop your team, building strong capabilities, clear accountability and a performance-driven culture.
• Own demand planning and forecasting, working closely with Category and Buying teams to translate commercial plans into high-quality forecasts.
• Drive replenishment and purchasing, turning forecasts into the right purchase orders and inventory decisions.
• Balance availability and inventory, improving service levels while managing stock turns, working capital and obsolescence risk.
• Build planning that scales, using strong planning logic, parameters and exception-based ways of working across thousands of SKUs.
• Drive lifecycle planning, from new product introductions to phase-out and end-of-life.
• Improve planning processes, systems and tools and contribute actively to S&OP/S&OE.

Who we are looking for

You have 5+ years of experience within demand planning, supply planning, replenishment or Supply Chain, preferably from retail, e-commerce, FMCG or another high-SKU environment.

You combine:

• End-to-end planning expertise across forecasting, replenishment, purchasing, and inventory management.
• Commercial mindset, you will partner closely with Category, Buying, or other commercial teams. You influence stakeholders through clear, well-reasoned arguments.
• Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing people and building high-performing teams. You set clear direction, adapt your style to the individual and situation, and motivate others to reach shared goals.
• Strong analytical and data skills, including experience with planning systems such as SAP F&R or equivalent. You break down complex problems, identify root causes, and propose practical, sometimes unconventional, solutions.
• Adaptable and change-ready — you adjust quickly to new situations and ways of working.
• Strong communication skills in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
