While the standard "Midtown" series was designed to be a utilitarian bridge between a solid-body Les Paul and a semi-hollow ES-335, the Midtown Kalamazoo was designed to be a high-class tribute to the legendary Gibson Byrdland . It takes the construction of a modern rock guitar and dresses it in the tuxedo aesthetics of a 1950s jazz box. Here is an overview of this unique instrument. 1.
