A beautiful example of art pottery by raku* master Stephan Roy. This thin walled vase is shimmering with iridescent and metallic greens, purples, and golds and is wrapped around the middle with thin gold wire. A stunning and unique piece of art.

*Raku is a Japanese firing technique in which a piece of pottery is removed from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed in a container with combustible materials. Flames, smoke, and heat all contribute to the unpredictable colors and textures, making each piece one of a kind.
