Lead Mobile Application Developer (contract) - PowerView Mobile

TGS Prediktor is seeking a Lead Mobile Application Developer (contract) to drive the development of the PowerView Mobile application. The role focuses on delivering intuitive, real-time mobile experiences that enable users to monitor asset performance, access operational insights, investigate alarms, and manage plant operations from anywhere.

We are looking for a developer who actively leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, software delivery, testing, and product innovation. Experience applying AI-driven development practices and evaluating AI-powered product capabilities is essential for this role.

The initial phase will focus on rapidly developing and validating prototypes, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilot solutions. As the product evolves, the role will help shape the long-term mobile strategy and architecture, including native applications for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate combines experience building and validating mobile web applications and PWAs with strong expertise in native mobile development and user-driven product validation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the PowerView Mobile application.

• Develop and validate prototypes, POCs, and pilot solutions with customers and end users.

• Build responsive mobile web applications optimized for field and operational use.

• Define the architecture and roadmap for future native iOS and Android applications.

• Develop mobile experiences for equipment status, alarms, operational data, dashboards, and performance insights.

• Implement map-based views and geolocation capabilities.

• Integrate with PowerView APIs, cloud services, and operational data platforms.

• Collaborate with customers, Product Management, UX designers, and backend engineers.

• Ensure application security, performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Contribute to testing, deployment, and release management.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience delivering mobile application projects as a consultant, contractor, or senior developer.

• Demonstrated success building and validating POCs, MVPs, or pilot solutions.

• Experience developing mobile-first web applications using modern frameworks such as React and TypeScript.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to accelerate software development, prototyping, testing, and code quality.

• Familiarity with integrating LLM-powered capabilities into applications and evaluating their applicability to product use cases.

• Experience developing native applications for both iOS and Android, and defining the transition from web-based prototypes to production mobile applications.

• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, UX principles, and API integration.

• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.

• Experience gathering user feedback and translating requirements into working solutions.

• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept through validation.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing mobile-first web applications and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), and transitioning successful prototypes into native iOS and Android applications.

• Experience with Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment.

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic applications, AI-powered mobile experiences, or LLM-based workflows.

• Experience with map-based applications and geolocation services.

• Familiarity with industrial software, renewable energy, IoT, asset monitoring, or SCADA solutions.

• Experience with industrial communication protocols and standards, particularly OPC UA.

• Experience transitioning pilots into production-ready products.

• Portfolio of mobile applications, POCs, or MVPs delivered from concept to production.
