Why This Role Matters
The Kvandal project will involve a large multinational workforce undertaking high-risk construction activities including heavy lifting operations, work at height, plant and machinery operations, electrical installations and commissioning activities. The Occupational Health Nurse will play a critical role in protecting workforce health, supporting emergency preparedness, and ensuring workers remain fit for work throughout the project lifecycle.
Recommendation: For recruitment purposes, I would advertise this as "Occupational Health Nurse / Site Medical Coordinator (Military or Emergency Response Background Preferred)". This will attract ex-military medics, emergency nurses, offshore medics and industrial occupational health professionals who are likely to perform well in a hyperscale construction environment.
