This is an "open road" Resistol with a 3" brim and a 5" crown. The first two photos are the best representation of the actual color. The color does change based on lighting, but is Silverbelly/Pearl in direct sun. The darker photos show its color in shadow. For its age and color, this hat is exceptionally clean. Also note that the hatband shows no signs of wear.
The hat was likely made in the late-50s or early 60s in Garland, TX. The style and color were perhaps most famously worn by US presidents Dwight Eisenhower and LBJ (search "LBJ open road").
