That's a Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane) — likely the 'Camille' or similar variegated variety, given the striking pattern of dark green edges with creamy yellow-green centers on the leaves.
A couple of care notes worth knowing:
- The sap is toxic if ingested and can irritate skin, so keep it away from pets and kids, and wash hands after handling.
- It likes bright, indirect light (yours looks well-placed near that window) and evenly moist but not soggy soil.
- It's fairly easy-going as houseplants go, but drooping leaves usually mean it wants water, while yellowing lower leaves are normal as it matures.
