Beskrivelse av varen
Tilstand: Som ny - Ikke synlig brukt
Icon is entirely hand-painted; created in the 1980’s by an East European artist who studied art and painting techniques in Greece. The artist used 22 carat gold leaf paint as a background and on the halo, traditional egg tempera on gesso over wood. Intricate painted borders. The wood it is painted on comes from Greece, a special type. It is really very unique and original. The icon depicts the apostle and evangelist John the Theologian, the beloved disciple and author of the Gospel.
Diamentions:28cm X 25cm
