NG Nordic Industrial Waste Services (IWS) business platform provides full scale waste services with focus on removing hazardous substances from circulation. We work in 20 facilities in four countries.

With approximately 3,400 employees across 90 locations and 1.3 billion euro in turnover, we are essential part of the Nordic circular economy.

We are now looking for a Business Controller to join Industrial Waste Services, Norway. In this role, you will be a key finance business partner for local management – providing clear analysis, robust financial planning and actionable insights that support better decisions and profitable growth.

Industrial waste services is a business where pricing, supply chains, investment decisions and cost structures are driving the business as well as creating complexity. You will be working closely with management and functions such as sales and operations to support performance improvement, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing financial analysis for pricing, cost efficiency and development, CAPEX planning and action plan follow-up
• Acting as finance business partner to local management
• Leading selected parts of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Supporting strategic planning and business development with financial modelling and insight
• Translating complex data, processes, and value streams into clear conclusions and recommendations

Your profile

We are looking for proactive, analytical, and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working close to the business. You are a combination of strong financial skills and curiosity, structure, and ability to communicate clearly across functions.

You likely have:

• A master’s degree in finance, accounting, or comparable
• At least 2 years of experience as a business partner
• Experience regarding budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and investment case analysis (NPV, IRR, ROCE)
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI, finance ERP and power point
• Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, IFRS/local GAAP, and business performance drivers
• Working proficiency in Norwegian and English
