Size? Exclusive: The next addition to our exclusive adidas Originals Archive collection is the München. Its styling sits perfectly within the classic City Series collection it was originally a part of, and before being brought back as part of Gary Aspdens Spezial project with adidas Originals last year, it was only ever exclusively produced in Japan under special license.
We’ve been given the exclusive on two of the original colourways which appeared on the Munchen during the 80’s & 90’s period.
The first comprises of a clean black suede upper, accented by neon yellow stripes and heel panel. The second version features much more of a classic city series orientated colour of royal blue with bright white replacing the vibrant yellow on it’s partner. Both sit atop a dark opaque gum handball midsole, a tooling mould you may recognise from the Handball Spezial model. Premium embossed gold branding sits on the tongue and with ‘Munchen’ city series labelling across the lateral side, a token mainstay on some of the most iconic releases to come out of the adidas camp.
