Export Control Specialist
Neuver Maritime is strengthening its governance and compliance capabilities and is now seeking a structured, confident, business-oriented and experienced Export Control Specialist.
In this role, you will be a key advisor across the organization, ensuring compliance with export control and sanctions regulations in a global maritime environment. You’ll work closely with compliance, project, sales, spares and procurement teams on classification, screening, licensing, and risk assessments.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with export control and sanctions regulations
Conduct partner screening and risk assessments
Support projects with expert guidance and practical solutions
Improve and maintain internal processes and training
Use third-party tools to screen vessels and customers (e.g. Seasearcher, D&B, Export control power app.)
What we’re looking for:
3–5 years in export control / trade compliance preferrable within Maritime Industry
Commercial mindset motivated by creating value for customers and business
Solid knowledge of screening tools, ERP system and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of EU/US/national regulations (ITAR/EAR is a plus)
Hands-on experience with classification and licensing
Structured, proactive, and confident in an advisory role
Proficiency in English and strong collaboration skills

· Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
· Independent and decisive, with sound professional judgment
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills in English
