Export Control Specialist

Neuver Maritime is strengthening its governance and compliance capabilities and is now seeking a structured, confident, business-oriented and experienced Export Control Specialist.

In this role, you will be a key advisor across the organization, ensuring compliance with export control and sanctions regulations in a global maritime environment. You’ll work closely with compliance, project, sales, spares and procurement teams on classification, screening, licensing, and risk assessments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with export control and sanctions regulations

  • Conduct partner screening and risk assessments

  • Support projects with expert guidance and practical solutions

  • Improve and maintain internal processes and training

  • Use third-party tools to screen vessels and customers (e.g. Seasearcher, D&B, Export control power app.)

What we’re looking for:

  • 3–5 years in export control / trade compliance preferrable within Maritime Industry

  • Commercial mindset motivated by creating value for customers and business

  • Solid knowledge of screening tools, ERP system and Microsoft Office

  • Strong knowledge of EU/US/national regulations (ITAR/EAR is a plus)

  • Hands-on experience with classification and licensing

  • Structured, proactive, and confident in an advisory role

  • Proficiency in English and strong collaboration skills
