Rare Vintage Kirovskie "Crab" Mechanical Watch (1MChZ) is a highly collectible mechanical wristwatch from the 1950s–1960s, highly sought after by Soviet watch enthusiasts. This model is famously nicknamed the "Crab" (or "Spider") due to its unique, curved case lugs that resemble crab claws.

Beautiful vintage watch manufactured on 1st Moscow Watch Factory
Watches branded ‘Kirovskie’ were among the first wristwatches produced at the famous 1st Moscow Watch Factory Kirov. You can see the old factory mark around the 6: “1МЧЗ им Кирова”.
The 1MWF manufactured early Pobeda watches, Sturmanskie (the first watch in space), Rodina, Sputnik, the first Komandirskies, and finally Poljot watches, for which they’re probably best known.
These stylish “crab” style Kirovskie watches were produced in the 1950’s, many of them show its age.
The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to operate.
