- Teak veneer— the warm reddish-brown grain is characteristic of the teak that dominated Nordic furniture of this era
- Recessed oval/oblong pull handles carved directly into the drawer fronts — a hallmark of Danish Modern design, avoiding applied hardware
- Tapered, splayed legs in solid wood — very typical of mid-century Nordic case furniture
