The Rev’It Traffic H2O is a motorcycle jacket made for city riders and those who enjoy sporty and touring rides. This sport-touring jacket is designed by Rev’It, the Dutch motorcycle gear brand that is known for making protective gear that looks good and feels comfortable to wear. This jacket is a great option for riders who want to stay safe, dry, and warm, while also having a casual and stylish look.
Material
The Rev’It Traffic-H2O jacket is made from a material called Softshell 3L. This fabric feels soft and comfortable but is also very strong. This material protects you when you fall, and also works well in different types of weather.
Another great thing about this material is that it stretches. That means the fabric moves with your body, so the jacket doesn’t feel stiff. This jacket feels nice when you’re riding, and it also makes it easier to move your arms and shoulders.
Inside the textile jacket, Rev’It added an additional layer called the Hydratex Z-liner. This is a special layer that keeps water out. At the same time, this material keeps the jacket breathable, helping to keep the rider cool.
Comfort
The Traffic H2O is made for comfort. One of the most useful features is the fixed thermal liner. This keeps you warm when it’s cold outside. You don’t have to worry about freezing during chilly mornings or windy evenings, because the thermal layer keeps your body heat inside the jacket.
The jacket also includes a hood which is also a special part of the jacket. If it starts to rain, you can use the adjustment drawcord to tighten the hood around your head. You can also adjust the hem of the jacket and the cuffs on your sleeves. These small changes help block out wind and rain, making your ride more comfortable.
To keep your things safe, the jacket includes an inner pocket. It’s perfect for your phone, wallet, or keys. You also get a jeans loop, which lets you attach the jacket to your pants. This stops the jacket from going up when you’re on the bike and helps keep your back covered. And for night riding, the jacket has laminated reflection strips on the elbows, upper arm, and front. These strips reflect light from car headlights, so drivers can see you more easily in the dark.
Protection
The jacket is CE Class A-certified, which means it gives you a good level of protection for city and street riding. The jacket has been tested and approved to keep riders safe in case of a fall or crash. Inside the jacket, you’ll find SEESMART CE-Level 1 protectors on the shoulders and elbows. These are thin and flexible, so you barely feel them when wearing the jacket, but they still offer a high level of impact protection. And if you want even more protection, this jacket is prepared for a SEESOFT CE-Level 2 back protector. This is an extra protector you can add to the jacket.
