On behalf of Stadler Service Norway, we are looking for an experienced Service Technician!

Stadler Service Norway AS is looking for an experienced Service Technician to support maintenance operations on the Bybanen rolling stock.

We are seeking someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Main Goals:
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Bybanen rolling stock with high quality and within deadlines
· Contribute to workshop performance indicators: availability, reliability, technical performance, and cost efficiency
· Support a team culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Main Responsibilities - Technical:
· Perform preventive maintenance according to plans and technical documentation
· Conduct fault diagnostics and repairs
· Carry out revision tasks such as component replacements and bogie overhauls
· Commission and release vehicles after maintenance work
· Report faults, incidents, and vandalism to management and document them in the maintenance system

Processes:
· Document all work in the maintenance management system (Zedas and paper protocols)
· Update work orders with materials, hours, and detailed descriptions
· Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

Workshop and Logistics:
· Contribute to equipment maintenance and general workshop cleanliness
· Support logistics tasks, including receiving deliveries when needed

Safety, Quality and Environment:
· Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
· Check tools, measuring devices, and lifting equipment before use
· Report any deviations from safety standards
· Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements

Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Technician
· Certificate of Apprenticeship (Fagbrev) as Electrician, Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or Industrial Fitter
· Fluent English, both spoken and written
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong team player
· Reliable, structured, and quality?oriented

Contract length: 6 month assignment with possibility of extension or permanent employment
