Are you our new Aftermarket and Customer Success Specialist?

Join us in continuing to revolutionize ocean space operations!

We are seeking a proactive, commercially minded, and relationship-oriented Aftermarket & Customer Success Specialist to ensure long-term customer success while driving growth within our existing customer base. In this role, you will work closely with customers, service teams, engineering, and operations to ensure our solutions continue to deliver maximum value long after the initial deployment. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening customer loyalty, driving repeat business, and further developing our aftermarket and customer success capabilities.

This position requires a unique combination of technical aptitude, commercial drive, and exceptional relationship-building skills. As an integral part of our Customer Service team, you will serve as the vital link between our clients and the wider Maritime Robotics organization—ensuring our customers receive world-class support while proactively identifying opportunities for future collaboration and business expansion.

As part of our service and aftermarket squad, you will report directly to the Aftersales Manager.

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive proactive development of our installed customer base to ensure long-term customer success and loyalty.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for additional sales, upgrades, training, services, and support agreements.

  • Prepare commercial offers and lead negotiations to support business development within existing accounts.

  • Act as a primary point of contact, providing professional support and ensuring a premium customer experience.

  • Coordinate customer requests, service activities, and technical deliveries across internal teams.

  • Manage order processing, invoicing, and essential administrative workflows related to customer accounts.

  • Contribute to building and continuously improving our aftersales and customer success framework.

  • Ensure company compliance by actively seeking process improvements and reporting deviations.

Relevant expertise for this role

  • Relevant higher education within engineering, maritime operations, business, technology, or similar. Relevant practical experience may compensate for formal education.

  • Experience from technical sales, customer success, account management, aftermarket services, or similar customer-facing commercial roles.

  • Understanding of maritime technology, offshore operations, autonomy systems, or related technical environments.

  • Background from maritime, offshore, marine technology, industrial technology, or service-oriented organizations is highly valued.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, customer follow-up processes, and commercial proposal work is an advantage.

  • Experience working with international customers is a plus.

  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English is required due to our international business environment. Other languages are a major bonus.

While you will be based in Bergen the position requires national and international travel to support our global operations.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority and is subject to background check.
