Wongraven Wines is entering a new phase of international growth, with clear ambitions to strengthen our position both globally and in Norway. We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in shaping this next chapter.
This is a unique opportunity to go beyond managing an existing business—you will build, develop, and drive strategic initiatives that create real, measurable impact.

Working closely with shareholders and key decision-makers, you will be given significant autonomy and influence in a company that is actively evolving.
Key Responsibilities
Drive distribution growth
Identify and execute opportunities to strengthen distribution across Anora’s core markets, while developing existing partnerships to accelerate sales.
Expand into new markets
Unlock opportunities in strategically important regions such as the UK and Benelux, building relationships with partners aligned with our brand and quality positioning.
Develop high-end partnerships
Strengthen Wongraven Wines’ position in the premium segment by building collaborations across industries such as automotive, watches, art, fashion, and luxury travel. You will help shape innovative concepts and exclusive brand experiences.
Strengthen and future-proof the portfolio
Continuously assess and evolve the portfolio to ensure it remains competitive and relevant, balancing strong heritage with a forward-looking, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related field is generally required. However, for candidates with extensive and relevant experience from a relevant industry at an international level, this requirement may be waived.
- Higher education in wine (e.g., WSET Diploma) or equivalent professional experience is generally required. However, for candidates with extensive and relevant experience this requirement may be waived.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages (Scandinavian languages, French, German, Italian) is an advantage.
Other requirements:
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally for business development.
- Place of residence: Oslo.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently.
- Event readiness: Comfortable working in dynamic environments domestically and abroad.
- Workload adaptability: We are a high-capacity team working in an international environment.
Sixteen years ago, Sigurd Wongraven founded Wongraven Wines. Today, we are proud to say that the company is one of the strongest players in the Norwegian wine industry. In 2025, we sold 1.5 million liters of wine, and we have successfully expanded into both the Swedish and Finnish markets, where we are experiencing rapid growth.
We are a small, dedicated team of three who work closely together and support one another in all aspects of the business. Wongraven Wines is part of the Anora Group, the largest supplier of wine and spirits in the Nordic region.
Wongraven Wines offers a wide portfolio of high‑quality products — from Champagne produced in France, to Barolo from Italy, and even locally crafted beer from Norway.
