BW Offshore is looking for a Lead Structural and Mechanical Engineer within the Turret, Mooring and SURF department to strengthen our team.

In the role, the right candidate will be part of a team contributing from concept development to project executions and developing new products withing the department’s responsibility.

The role involves interaction with clients, class, regulators, yards and vendors.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of turret and mooring concept solutions

• Prepare and own structural and mechanical philosophies, specifications, analyses and data sheets

• Support and contribute to technology development activities from concept to finished delivered products.

• Support and contribute to new technology qualification program activities.

• Support TMS CAPEX development for all phases.

• Support or lead technical clarifications with clients, class and yards

• Support or lead technical clarifications with contractors and suppliers

• Develop technical input for procurement activities linked to module yards, integration yards, shipyards and equipment packages

Who we think you are:

• You have a degree in Mechanical, Structural or a related engineering field

• Experience from offshore, marine or energy projects

• Familiarity with turret and mooring systems or similar structures is an advantage

• Experience from FEED, tender work or project execution

• Understanding of relevant standards and classification requirements

• Experience with vendor follow-up and technical procurement
