It’s a 2018 Philips 50-inch 4K UHD LED Smart TV with three-sided Ambilight. That Ambilight is its standout feature — LEDs behind the TV cast matching colors onto the wall, making movies and games way more immersive.
Key specs: 50-inch VA panel, 3840x2160 resolution, HDR10 support, around 350 nits brightness, 20W sound from two 10W speakers, three HDMI ports, two USBs, Wi-Fi, and built-in tuners for all the usual signals. It runs on an older smart platform with Netflix, catch-up TV apps, and such. Dimensions without stand are about 113 x 66 x 8 cm, weighs roughly 13 kg with the stand.
Reviews back then called it a steal — punchy, colorful picture for the price, great detail handling, and that Ambilight seals the deal. Sound is decent for a basic TV but a soundbar helps.
