Mechanical Engineer - Equipment and Structural Design (Opportunity for Graduates or Early Career professionals)
We are looking for a Mechanical or Structural Engineer to strengthen our team within engineering and product development.
Join us in our quest to solve tomorrow’s challenges and innovate our future!
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work with the design and development of mechanical structures and equipment within our product portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design and development of machines and mechanical equipment
3D modelling and preparation of 2D drawings

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structures and equipment
Stress analysis of piping systems
Development of technical solutions within our product portfolio
Preparation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM)
Preparation of technical documentation and analysis reports, including documentation for class approval
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a solid technical understanding of mechanical and/or structural engineering, and who enjoys working with design, analysis, and problem‑solving. You have interest in finding practical and robust technical solutions, and have knowledge and interest in both mechanical and structural engineering.
We believe that your educational background lies with either mechanical or structural engineering.
We also think it is advantageous that you hold the following qualifications:
Experience with 3D design tools (experience with Creo / Pro‑ENGINEER is an advantage)
Experience preparing 2D drawings (experience with AutoCAD is an advantage)
Familiarity with offshore design rules and standards such as DNV and Eurocode
Ability to perform or contribute to structural, FEA, or piping stress analyses
Strong working proficiency in both spoken and written English
Should you not tick all these boxes, we still encourage you to apply – but we are looking for you who can tell us in the application how your work experiences and education is of relevance for this role, why you would be a great fit, and what your most notable and relevant strengths are.
We focus on relevant skills and experiences rather than years of experience or whether you hold a bachelor's degree or master’s degree.
What can you expect in return?
Besides the typical things, such as flexible working hours, pension and insurance, subsidized and varied lunch menu, free parking, and a great company culture, we can also offer you:
A diverse and inclusive work environment where people are genuinely helpful, and where you are encouraged to develop your skills and share your knowledge
A positive attitude towards your career development in a company who values internal mobility and continuous development
An opportunity to work with advanced engineering solutions and complex mechanical structures
The chance to contribute to products used in demanding offshore and industrial environments
Support for professional development and learning in a technically strong engineering environment
Workplace: Kristiansand, Norway
