Marketer.com is scaling fast, and we're looking for a Customer Onboarding Intern to join our Customer Success team.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about e-commerce and digital marketing, enjoys customer contact, and wants to grow into a more senior Customer Success Manager role over time.
The internship runs for 6 months, with a clear ambition to convert the right candidate into a full-time position with a significant salary increase.
What you'll do
As a Customer Success Intern, your focus is on helping existing customers get the most out of Marketer.com. You will:
Work directly with customers to solve real problems across analytics, creative, and campaign management
Support customers using the Marketer.com app, as well as key performance marketing tools including:
Shopify
Meta Ads
Google Ads
Google Analytics 4
Google Merchant Center
Drive upsell opportunities and help customers expand their use of the platform
Collect positive feedback and reviews from happy customers
Make sure customers renew their subscriptions
Escalate technical or complex issues to senior team members when needed
Document customer feedback, recurring issues, and product insights for the team
You'll work closely with experienced Customer Success Managers and gain hands-on exposure to real e-commerce businesses and paid media setups. Expect to build domain knowledge fast, because you'll be exposed to new data points and real problems every single day.
You're likely a good fit if you:
Are comfortable speaking with customers on calls and video meetings
Have experience from high-volume customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, customer support, reception)
Communicate clearly and confidently in English (Norwegian is a plus)
Are structured, reliable, and good at following through
Enjoy helping people and solving problems calmly
Are ready to work in an incredibly fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing start-up environment
You also have a genuine interest in:
E-commerce and online businesses
Shopify and SaaS tools
Digital marketing and paid advertising (Meta, Google)
Bonus (not required):
Experience with Shopify stores
Exposure to Meta Ads, Google Ads, or analytics tools
Online courses, side projects, or experience in performance marketing
Growth & opportunity
This internship is designed as a launchpad. During the 6 months, you'll:
Build strong customer communication skills in a SaaS environment
Learn how performance marketing works in practice across Meta and Google
Develop deep product, platform, and industry knowledge
Get real ownership over customer relationships and outcomes
For the right candidate, this role transitions into a full-time Customer Success Manager position with expanded responsibility, a meaningful increase in compensation, and potentially the opportunity to work from our US office in San Francisco or New York.
