Role Overview
The Inside Sales & Marketing Associate is a hybrid revenue and growth role supporting new business growth as well as supporting marketing initiatives that drive pipeline. You will contribute to campaigns, content, and go-to-market strategies that attract and nurture leads while also work with the sales team with the process of progressing potential customers through the sales cycle. This role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing and is ideal for someone who wants to learn and expand their experience within these areas, and who is equally comfortable picking up the phone to prospects as they are crafting an email campaign or analyzing funnel metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Within Sales;
Prospect and qualify new leads through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
Manage and progress leads through the sales pipeline.
Conduct product demonstrations via video call, showcasing the value of our products and offerings.
Prepare and deliver proposals, pricing quotes, and contracts to the Kontur sales organization or to prospective clients.
Follow up with inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns and convert them into opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and deal stages in CRM (Zoho/HubSpot/Salesforce).
Collaborate with and provide support to Account Executives, VPs of Sales and the CRO on high-value deals and strategic accounts.
Within Marketing;
Assist in planning and executing demand generation campaigns including email marketing, webinars, and digital ads.
Create and refine sales content such as email sequences, case studies, one-pagers, and battle cards.
Support social media and content marketing activities to build brand presence in target markets.
Analyze campaign performance metrics and report on lead quality, conversion rates, and ROI.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure messaging is aligned with buyer personas and product positioning.
Support event coordination including trade shows, virtual events, and product launch activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a sales & marketing role.
Experience selling B2B technology products or software.
Proficiency with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot or Salesforce.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus).
Ability to quickly understand and clearly explain complex technical products to non-technical buyers.
Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred
Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot Marketing, Mailchimp, or similar).
Familiarity with sales engagement platforms.
Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals: SEO, SEM, paid social, and content marketing.
