Vacancy Project Lead Engineer

As a Project Lead Engineer within our Maritime Business Unit, you will be at the forefront of our engineering projects, providing technical leadership from the sales phase through to complete installation.

You will manage and coordinate engineering tasks, ensuring that project milestones are achieved. This role requires strong collaboration with various functions within the company, playing an important role within our project matrix structure.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead technical aspects of projects from the sales phase through to complete installation.

• Coordinate and manage engineering tasks to ensure project milestones are met.

• Maintain and update process drawings and project-related procedures.

• Develop, initiate, and approve product and production documentation.

• Select and verify products, conduct technical assessments, and prepare cost estimates and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and various internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.

• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes.

• Conduct technical information research and engage in technical dialogue with suppliers.

• Participate in qualifying new technology and equipment.

• Read/understand P&ID and electrical drawings.

Qualifications and experience:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Proven experience as a process engineer or design engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in project execution.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills

• Norwegian and English, oral and written.
