Innovation Consultants – Grants, Technology and Strategy

Oslo (Norway), with the possibility of hybrid work (in-office/remote).

An important part of our global strategy is to grow our business in Norway which is why we are searching for several Innovation Consultants for our Oslo office.

About the role:

As an Innovation Consultant you will be engaged in developing, designing, and presenting research and technology innovation projects. The daily work will be highly diverse and draw on your technical, economic, presentation and social skills to validate project ideas and optimize funding proposals on behalf of our clients. You will have the opportunity to work across several sectors including green energy, decarbonization, sustainability life sciences and health tech. Once you have become more independent you will take a proactive role in business development, building and sustaining client relationships, and expanding Innovayt’s presence in the innovation landscape in Norway.

You will:

• Develop research and technology funding proposals (nationally and internationally) with a focus on technology, commercial impact, and societal relevance

• Conduct market and technology research with both a practical and scientific mindset, focusing on delivery, technical feasibility, commercial impact, and societal relevance

• Work with the sales team to validate and mature project ideas for Norwegian clients

• Become a trusted advisor for our clients on topics such as grants, loans, equity, and tax incentives

• Be backed by our global project management teams and engineering, business development, and corporate finance experts to secure funding and deliver results

We think you should have:

• A higher education degree within Science, Engineering, or Finance/Management. A specialization directly relevant to Green Energy Transition, Health Tech, or Project Finance is desired

• Preferably, hands-on experience with grant proposal writing, project finance, research, or other background directly relevant to the job

• A talent for and knowledge of applied and industrial research, business model development, and management consulting

• Strong analytical capacity, excellent drafting skills, and experience with complex and research-related problem-solving.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate extensively with clients, partners, and colleagues from various backgrounds

• Excellent English skills – both written and verbal
