Summer internship - Business Analyst

Odfjell Terminals operates as an active, industrial owner with a disciplined focus on safety and value creation. By leveraging Odfjells know-how, brand, and customer reach, we support our empowered, high-quality local management teams in driving commercial performance, operational improvements, and pursuing accretive expansions. Our terminal platform comprises four jointly owned terminals across the US, Belgium, and South Korea. 

Odfjell has a stated objective to grow its terminal business from where we are today. We have a unique platform for doing so, building a portfolio of strong assets, more than half a century of track record and know-how, and the synergies of being both a shipping and terminal company. 

The summer internship at our Bergen headquarters offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside executives and industry experts at the intersection of operations, strategy, finance, and investment in the maritime industry. 

TASKS:

• Support ongoing projects across the Terminals organization
• Assist in the analysis of markets, operations, and investment opportunities
• Analyze and structure data to generate insights and support decision-making
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and internal materials
• Provide ad hoc support to the Terminals HQ team
  
   

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Completed 2nd or 3rd year of bachelors degree in relevant fields such as finance/economics, engineering or computer science
• Experience in organizing, analyzing and presenting data
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint experience with Power BI, programming, and AI literacy are considered a plus

The internship period will be from 4-6 weeks, flexibility related to period, from June until end August.
For the right candidate, there may be opportunities for part time work after the summer internship has ended.
