Mechanical Design Engineer at XSENS AS

Mechanical design for development and update of Xsens clamp-on flow meters.

Responsibility for Xsens drawing archive.

Responsible for 3D printing of parts for prototypes and production and maintenance of 3D printers

The mechanical engineer reports to VP delivery and services and will assist project managers and R&D department with execution of mechanical design and assist testing and production of Xsens flow meters by mechanical skills, when required.

Some travel may be required.

Area of responsibility

• Participating in customer and development projects, main focus of mechanical design aspects
• Execute and follow up design and development project tasks, such as design, calculations, risk assessments and design reviews.
• Execute and follow up fabrication and testing of XSENS flowmeters.
• Technical support for clients and internal personnel

Education /Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc within Mechanical Design
• Detailed knowledge of 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProEngineer etc.
• Experience from design within Oil&Gas industry is preferred.
