Senior Engineer - Telecom

As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you will contribute to system design, development and follow‑up of telecommunication systems across various project phases. In this role, you will be involved in preparing technical documentation, coordinating vendor packages, participating in testing activities and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

About the position

In this role, you will take responsibility for telecom system design and technical follow‑up throughout study and execution phases. You will prepare technical requisitions, review vendor documentation and ensure the project receives the information needed to maintain progress. You will design solutions that meet customer requirements, participate in FAT and other test activities, and work closely with disciplines, suppliers and customers to secure high‑quality deliveries. The role offers a varied workday with opportunities to influence technical decisions and contribute to meaningful, future‑oriented projects.

Qualifications

• Technical vocational school, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

• Trade certificate is an advantage

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Experience with telecom system design or vendor follow‑up is a plus

• Good communication skills in English, both written and oral (Norwegian is an advantage)
