We are now seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Technical Advisory Manager – Electrical to lead our Electrical team within the Technical Advisory Department. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for guiding technical direction, competence, and solution development that supports our market offerings.

You will report to the Local Division Head of Technical Advisory and collaborate closely with Sales,

Market & Concept Development, and Engineering to ensure ABB presents strong, standardized, and competitive technical solutions to the market.

Your Responsibilities

• Proactively lead, develop, coach, and inspire the Sales Technical Advisory Electrical team.

• Adapt and implement the Electrical sales support strategy in alignment with local and global business strategies.

• Assign and allocate internal and external resources for technical support, bid work, and proposal preparation.

• Oversee cost estimations, bids, and proposals, ensuring quality, competitiveness, and compliance with ABB standards and targets.

• Drive standardization of technical solutions across sub‑segments in cooperation with Market & Concept Development, Sales Segments, and Engineering.

• Work closely with Sales Segments and OPC to define and structure technical support tailored to each sub‑segment.

Your Background

• Proven leadership skills and experience in developing people and teams.

• Strong technical understanding with deep knowledge of the Electrical discipline.

• Customer‑focused mindset with insight into evolving customer needs.

• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

• Background in engineering and sales; familiarity with ABB’s portfolio is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education.
