About the role
The Accounting and Financial Control team in Oslo is seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the accounting teams in both Oslo and Stockholm with general accounting tasks, monthly financial close activities, and group reporting. You will also contribute to the implementation and maintenance of internal control frameworks and policies, ensuring compliance with group guidelines and IFRS.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Accounting and Financial Control - Shipping, located in Oslo.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
Day-to-day bookkeeping of Treasury transactions in entities within AOR
Monthly group reporting into the group consolidation system – OneStream
Ensure intercompany alignment in the reporting system for entities within AO
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Monitor AP invoices/reminders and collaborate with Shared Service Centers
Implement and follow group control policies within AOR
Participate in internal and external audits by preparing and providing requested financial documentation, schedules, and reconciliations
Drive continuous improvements for more accurate, efficient, and smarter ways of working
Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects
Job requirements:
Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting or audit
Preferably experience from accounting/auditing, but graduates with part time experience are also encouraged to apply
Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and Norwegian GAAP is an advantage
Good MS Office and financial systems skills
Fluent in English; Norwegian is a plus
