Manager Product & Development Edge Infrastructure

Kongsberg Maritime is growing, and we are strengthening our Technology Platforms organization.
We are looking for a Manager Product & Development Edge Infrastructure to lead the development of infrastructure platforms supporting the next generation of maritime solutions.

In this role, you will drive product and technology development for our Edge Infrastructure platforms, supporting the broader Kongsberg Maritime product portfolio. You will work closely with product teams, delivery organizations and customer support to ensure robust, scalable and future-ready infrastructure solutions.

The position combines product ownership, technology leadership and development management. You will contribute to product strategy, lifecycle management and development initiatives while leading a highly skilled development team.

You will be part of a collaborative and technically strong Technology Platforms organization, working across product lines to build the infrastructure enabling next-generation maritime solutions.

What you will be doing

• Define and drive product and technology strategy within the Edge Infrastructure domain
• Manage Life Cycle Management (LCM) for selected platform products, ensuring long-term sustainability and continuous improvement
• Maintain responsibility for relevant class requirements, intellectual property (IP/IPR and compliance within the product portfolio
• Collaborate closely with Product teams, Global Customer Support, Delivery and Sales to ensure strong alignment between product development and operational needs
• Provide product support and capabilities to internal stakeholders across Kongsberg Maritimes product portfolio
• Lead development initiatives and projects within your product portfolio, including feasibility studies, product development, utilization improvements and maintenance activities

We think you have

• Higher technical education within Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with product and technology development processes within software, infrastructure or platform-based solutions
• Experience leading development teams or technical environments
• Experience working with complex technical systems in industrial, maritime or embedded environments
• Experience with Edge computing, virtualization technologies, distributed systems or infrastructure platforms is considered an advantage
• Strong decision-making capability and ability to move initiatives forward in complex technical environments
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and oral
