Hyndla, a part of ProCon Wind Energy, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and contribute to our wind energy projects globally.

Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer at Procon, you will contribute significantly to the design, execution, and documentation of electrical systems for our offshore wind projects. Working closely with other engineers, project managers and installation technicians, you will enhance your hands-on experience in the full project lifecycle. Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Design and specification of low-voltage electrical systems, interfaces and components.
Design and specification of earthing and lightning protection systems.
Performing electrical calculations and simulations to ensure proper dimensioning and compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.
Creating and reviewing technical documentation for the aforementioned systems.
Supporting the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems, both in-house and onsite.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, structural, and project management) to ensure proper execution of projects.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring full traceability of electrical design changes and documentation.
Working in accordance with defined safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Conducting root cause analysis of electrical system issues and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.
Contribution to internal research and development (R&D) projects.
Your primary workplace will be discussed in the hiring process. Your reporting line will be to the Head of Electrical Engineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in the position, we imagine that you possess a combination of the following competencies and experience:
Hold a higher education degree or technical school qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Have strong foundational knowledge of electrical power systems.
Be proficient in CAD software for electrical design (Familiarity with the EPLAN platform or similar is an advantage).
Have experience with or a strong willingness to learn electrical calculation and simulation tools (ETAP or similar).
Are structured, detail-oriented, and take pride in the accuracy of technical documentation.
Are a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical aptitude.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Are comfortable working independently and as part of a highly collaborative team in an international setting
