Seafood production workers

On behalf of a solid seafood company we are seeking skilled seafood production workers that would love to work and live next to the lovely West Coast of Norway - with the famous fjords and the North Sea as next door neighbour.

This seafood company has a successful tradition in recruiting couples and family members that prefer to work & live together in Norway on long term, but also professional single candidates can apply. Please note that you will need an own car in Norway to work & live successfully at this location, and that you need to have either norwegian or english language skills. Eventually appliers that are not EU/EAA citizens will need to have fixed an norwegian work visa before they will be concidered.

• Sorting and gutting fresh fish
• Cleaning and filleting fish
• Packing and freezing products
• Taking part in the company's food-hygiene routines for both production equipment and the factory. This includes general cleaning, high-pressure steam washing, and occasional sterilization tasks
• Assisting with thermo storage duties, as well as general warehouse and terminal work
• Being ready to contribute to renovation, cleaning and food hygiene related tasks during shorter periods with lower production

• Vocational training/certificate and professional experience within seafood production or food industry is clearly an advantage, but not an absolute requirement.
• If you are a diciplined, indipendant and work willing person with good collaberation skills, then you will have a good chance to succed in this seafood company.
• Wanted candidates can speak/communicate in Norwegian or English.
• Wanted candidates have driving licence B, and have access to a car in Norway. The accommodation is localizef between 10 - 20 minutes driving from work.
• Wanted candidates are EU/EAA Citziens so tha no work visa is required (application time for work visa is between 4 - 6 months at UDI...).
• We encourage couples with a high work ethic to apply ASAP
• Important: Wanted candidates are also in a position to document and present a clean criminal record for the past 5 years. This because a considerable share of the seafood-export is airborned to Northern America each day. For that reason a majority of the staff has passed the "background check" at the Civil Aviation Authority in Norway (Luftfartstilsynet).
