Selger disse to flotte ekseplarene samlet: "On the Road - the original scroll" av Jack Kerouac og "Windblown world - the journals of Jack Kerouac 1947-1954" edited and with an introduction by Douglas Brinkley.
Begge bøkene er pent innbundet og av god kvalitet. De har knapt vært åpnet (kun forsiktig for å ta bilder til Finn) og fremstår helt som nye, med omslag. Måler B 16 cm x H 24 cm. Disse er ikke å få kjøpt innbundet i Norge, hverken nye eller brukt, så videt jeg kan se. (Finner også bare eksemplarer med bruksmerker på eBay/Amazon etc.)
"On the Road" har blitt en kultroman, og regnes som en av de aller fremste beatromanene. Persongalleriet baserer seg angivelig på virkelige personer som Allen Ginsberg, Neal Cassady, Gary Snyder og Kerouac selv, men da boka opprinnelig ble publisert i 1957 ble både virkelige navn og ting som ikke ble ansett som "innafor" på den tida (homoseksualitet etc) redigert bort. Denne versjonen, "The original scroll", er boka slik Kerouac selv skrev den.

Utgitt i 2004 og kjøpt ny på Tronsmo bokhandel, ikke lest. Den består av Jack Kerouac sine dagboknotater over 385 sider, inkludert indeks. Dette er direkte innblikk i Kerouacs liv og skriving, og opptakten til det som skulle bli boka "On the Road".
