Process Engineering

Job Description

• Coordinate and collaborate with Process Lead / Discipline Manager to determine project objectives for the process team
• Provide process engineering input to design activities performed by other engineering disciplines within the project
• Interface with other disciplines, vendors, and relevant parties on process engineering matters
• Ensure all deliverables are technically accurate, within scope, budget, and schedule, and compliant with quality procedures and project plans
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior process engineers to ensure successful task execution
• Contribute to a positive working environment and strong team spirit within the process team
• Execute feasibility studies, conceptual design, and process studies
• Participate in technical design reviews such as P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, and client/vendor meetings
• Support project engineering leads and managers during project design and execution in line with contract and client requirements
• Prepare technical reports, scopes of work, and technical queries
• Identify problems or discrepancies in work processes and propose improvements, requesting support when required

Qualification Requirements

• Strong experience developing and supporting key process design documents including Heat & Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets
• Proficient in process simulation software such as Hysys
• Solid knowledge of process engineering tasks including line sizing, PSV sizing, blowdown, and equipment sizing
• Experience representing process discipline in technical reviews and multidisciplinary project environments
• Ability to work structured and independently while contributing to team-based project execution
• Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal
