Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Chief Commercial Officer who will saddle up with us to build a Norwegian tech company with global reach. As CCO, you will be a key member of the leadership team and the architect behind our commercial strategy. You'll have the opportunity to take part in forming and building a great company with us.
The person we are looking for genuinely cares about people and companies. We need someone who combines sincere compassion with entrepreneurial spirit and strategic acumen at the highest level. You will play a central role in shaping how Saddle creates, captures, and compounds value over time.
Experience & Expertise
Proven experience in senior commercial roles, ideally in SaaS, Private Equity, technology or B2B segments.
Experience working with or within companies backed by private equity, family offices, or other external owners.
Strong understanding of transactions and dynamics in companies after M&A
Track record of building and scaling commercial operations and revenue models.
Ability to translate customer insight into strong commercial outcomes.
Leadership & Mindset
Strategic thinker with a growth mindset.
Comfortable leading through ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
Collaborative and excellent at building relationships across stakeholders.
Communication
Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are a plus.
Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
What You'll Do
Build and scale a world-class commercial organization
Architect and execute Saddle's commercial strategy as we scale from Norway to global markets
Build lasting customer relationships that become strategic partnerships
Identify and seize market opportunities
Feed customer insight back into product and technical teams to drive continuous improvement.
Take a long-term, value-driven approach to building a sustainable and impactful company.
Work closely with founders, board members, and owners to align commercial execution with long-term ownership goals
