We are looking for Senior Engineer EITA (Layout) to strengthen our department in Asker

As a Senior Engineer within EITA Layout, you will take an active role in developing and delivering technical solutions across both study and execution phases. You will work with EITA layout design in AVEVA E3D, ensuring efficient and compliant engineering solutions that meet project and regulatory requirements. The position involves coordination across disciplines and responsibility for designated areas as Discipline Responsible Engineer. You will lead and participate in meetings and technical reviews, collaborate closely with clients, engineering teams and fabrication yards, and contribute to the further digitalisation of engineering data and documentation. This role offers the opportunity to influence design development in major greenfield and upcoming HVDC projects, while working in a multidisciplinary and forward‑leaning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical College with minimum 4 years of relevant experience

• Minimum 4 years’ experience with EITA layout design in greenfield projects

• Solid understanding of NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNV and IEC standards

• At least 2 years’ experience with AVEVA E3D

• Strong communication skills in English

• Collaborative and culturally aware, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Structured, accurate and committed to delivering high‑quality work

• Proactive and solution‑oriented, with interest in improving digital methods and work processes
