Join KSAT as a UX Lead!

We are seeking a talented and motivated UX Lead to own and elevate the user experience across KSAT Earth Observation's digital portal and platforms. In this role, you will shape how customers discover, access, and act on Earth Observation insights - such as oil spill and vessel detections, environmental analytics, and reporting - through intuitive, efficient, and high-quality digital experiences.

You will work closely with product, domain experts, and developers to ensure we build the right solutions, in the right way: user-centered, scalable, and delivering measurable customer value.

As UX Lead, your key responsibilities will be to:

Own the end-to-end user experience for KSAT EO's digital platforms

• Define and maintain a clear UX vision and direction for our portal and platform experiences.

• Ensure consistent, coherent interaction patterns across features and services.

• Champion usability, clarity, and efficiency - especially for complex geospatial and analytics workflows.

Drive customer-focused discovery and design

• Lead user research and insight gathering from internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and workflows.

• Translate customer problems into user journeys, information architecture, interaction design, and UI concepts.

• Validate concepts through prototypes and testing, iterating quickly based on feedback.

Partner closely with developers to deliver effective solutions

• Work side-by-side with developers to design solutions that are feasible, maintainable, and performant.

• Provide clear design specifications (flows, wireframes, prototypes, edge cases) and support implementation details. Using Figma or similar tools to visualize solutions will help improve development efficiency and drive a delivery focus.

• Help teams balance speed and quality, ensuring UX excellence even in iterative delivery.

Establish UX standards and scalable design practices

• Build and evolve design guidelines and components in collaboration with developers.

• Improve design quality through structure, documentation, and best practices.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of how we work: discovery habits, feedback loops, and delivery rituals. Time To Market is key.

Collaborate across stakeholders and disciplines

• Work with internal stakeholders (product, customer success, commercial teams, analysts/operators) and external customers.

• Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently, aligning diverse perspectives into a shared direction.

• Advocate for customer outcomes and ensure UX priorities are visible and measurable.

Qualifications and interests

• Experience leading UX work and driving customer value delivery across digital products, ideally in complex domains (B2B, analytics, geospatial, SaaS, or similar).

• Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping.

• Experience running user research and applying insights in iterative delivery.

• Comfort working closely with developers and understanding technical constraints/trade-offs.

• Interest in product development and continuous improvement.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and translate complexity into clarity.

• Interest in Earth Observation, environmental monitoring, or satellite data is a plus but not required.
