Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customers we are now looking for a Telecom - Senior/Principal engineer Bergen 28021.

Job responsibilities:

•    Detailed design of telecom tasks.

•    Participate in studies.

•    Estimate telecom tasks.

•    Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.

•    Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).

•    Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.

•    Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.

•    Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.

•    Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.

•    Perform as-built.

Your experience and qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.

•    Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry.

•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.

•    Strong experience in engineering design.

•    Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.

•    Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.

•    Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.

•    Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M).

•    Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.

•    Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.

Required courses and certificates:

•    Valid offshore and health certicicate

•    Grunnleggende EX kurs - Minimum 6-8 timer online eller 22,5 timer i klasserom

•    FSE høy og lavtspent med praktisk førstehjelp
