Exciting opportunity for experienced Telecom Engineers to join a major offshore project in Bergen

Introduction:

We are looking for Senior and Principal Telecom Engineers to join an exciting offshore-related project in Bergen.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed design of telecom tasks

• Participate in studies and prepare estimates

• Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries

• Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, job packages)

• Follow up with suppliers and take package responsibility

• Participate in pre-test/FAT at supplier

• Participate in inspections onshore/offshore

• Provide training for new engineers

• Perform as-built documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Senior Engineer

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience for Principal Engineer

• Strong experience in engineering design

• Offshore project experience

• Proficiency in Norwegian (preferred) or English

• Knowledge of standards: ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR, STID, ProCoSys, ARIS

• Experience with modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M)

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry

• Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation Hardware

• Alternatively, Technical College degree with extensive experience in Norwegian Oil & Gas projects

End Date: 31 December 2027
