Lifecare ASA is now seeking an experienced and forward-looking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a key role as the company transitions from advanced R&D into production, commercialization, and global market entry.

The role

As CFO, you will have overall responsibility for Lifecare's financial strategy and execution during a critical growth phase. You will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, investors, and key external stakeholders, and be a core contributor to capital markets activities, financial governance, and value creation initiatives. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution in an international, interdisciplinary organization.

The CFO will play an active role in shaping Lifecare's financial and structural readiness for strategic growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital management, financing processes, and capital markets transactions.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and financial reporting in line with listed-company requirements.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support to the CEO and Board.
• Build and develop a scalable finance function supporting Lifecare's growth and international expansion.

Your background and profile

We believe the successful candidate will have:

• A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.
• Proven experience as CFO or in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a publicly listed company.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, financial reporting, and governance.
• An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across disciplines and geographies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
