Technical Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Support Engineer, reporting to Team LeaderTechnical Support. In this role, you will be a part of the Technical Support team, responsible for providing technical support on propulsion products to our internal and external customers. You will also contribute with technical assistance to cross-functional projects and to our sales organization. An essential part of the role will be taking an active part in developing technical documentation for Global Customer Support. Your contribution will be important to ensure that the organizations objectives and goals are delivered.
You will be performing services through a products lifecycle span, from commissioning live product to legacy and into retirement.
Our product portfolio ranges from conventional propellers, azimuth propellers, gearboxes, tunnel thrusters to remote control systems.
Key Accountabilities
Technical support for internal and external customers within Thrusters portfolio
Support global field service engineers with technical advice during services
Support our Project and Sales organization with technical solutions
Quality assurance and technical product documentation
On the longer view, participate in: Out-of-office-hours support team 1-week duty
Qualifications And Experience
Technical education and/or experience from relevant industry is beneficial
Strong and relevant technical knowledge with Thrusters equipment and maritime operations.
Practical hands-on experience from services is an advantage.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Norwegian.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
