We are now looking for a Technology Engineer to join our forward-thinking team, based in Haugesund, Bergen, or Stavanger.
The Innovation & Technology department drives DeepOcean’s long-term competitiveness by developing strategic technology initiatives that enhance operational performance and unlock new business opportunities. We focus on forward-looking projects, improving existing solutions, and creating new capabilities through close collaboration across disciplines.
What will you do in this position?
As Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing ongoing technology projects and shaping new, high-impact initiatives that push the boundaries of what DeepOcean can deliver. Working closely with our offshore operations, engineering teams, and senior management, you will help identify, develop, and execute projects that strengthen our technological edge. Equally important is your close collaboration with clients and suppliers to assess needs and prioritize the technology developments that generate the greatest value for all stakeholders.
A central focus for this position will be adapting DeepOcean technologies for dual-use opportunities with NATO navies. DeepOcean is committed to supporting the Norwegian government and other NATO nations in enhancing total defence capabilities, and this role will be instrumental in translating that commitment into practical, future-ready solutions.
