About Us:

Testpartner Molab is a materials testing laboratory with ISO 17025 accreditation, specializing in providing comprehensive materials analysis and testing services. Our facility is equipped with complete machining workshop, mechanical test laboratory, chemical and microscopy laboratories. Due to increased demand, we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Metallurgist/Materials Engineer to join our team.

Testpartner Molab is a part of the rapidly growing Nordic Inspekt Group, located in both Norway and Sweden with approximately 150 employees.

Responsibilities:

•                   Perform metallurgical analysis on a wide range of metals and welds

•                   Conduct failure analysis

•                   Participate in WPQR-testing

•                   Interpret and analyze test results, providing detailed reports to customers

•                   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complete testing reports

•                   Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and testing methods

Qualifications:

•        Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

•        Previous experience in materials testing and analysis

•        Proficiency in metallurgical analysis techniques, such as metallography and microscopy

•        Knowledge about welds and welded materials

•        Understanding of mechanical testing, corrosion mechanisms, and failure analysis

•        Familiarity with relevant industry standards and testing methods (ISO/ASTM/Norsok etc.)

•        Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
