About the role
As a senior developer / tech lead, you will play an important role in shaping the development of our WPF/C# desktop application, which is a key part of a global medical simulation ecosystem.
You will contribute to architectural decisions, guide best practices, and support the team in delivering high-quality, maintainable, and secure software. Beyond hands-on development, you will mentor engineers and collaborate across teams, with opportunities to expand your impact as our technology and product portfolio evolve.
You will be based in Stavanger, Norway. We work on site with the possibility to occasionally work from home.
Some of what you will be doing:
Contribute to the design and development of our WPF/C# desktop application.
Support architectural decisions and help improve code quality and development practices.
Perform and facilitate code reviews, ensuring adherence to secure development principles.
Mentor and support developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Work closely with UX, QA, and product teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.
Stay informed on related projects and propose solutions that strengthen our simulation ecosystem.

We expect that you have:
A BSc. or MSc. in a relevant engineering discipline.
Several years of professional experience developing software applications.
Proficiency in .NET development and familiarity with software development principles.
Understanding of software architecture and secure development practices.
Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces for desktop or mobile applications.
Experience with code reviews and an interest in mentoring other developers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
