Senior consultant - InPhase Solutions AS

About the position

We, at InPhase Solutions AS, are looking for a new colleague. InPhase works with ultrasound technology for many different medical and industrial applications. We also pursue our own development projects and products.

As a Senior Consultant in InPhase, you are expected to be autonomous but also take part in and manage teamwork and projects. You will often find yourself as the subject matter expert on projects, both internally and as a hired consultant. This involves being responsible for knowing your limits as an expert and identifying gaps in your knowledge that can be overcome with learning. We also expect you to take part in technical sales work. This includes (but is not limited to) making contact with new customers, following up existing ones, and planning and budgeting projects. Within these expectations, you will be given the freedom to define your own role.

Some projects can involve some travelling, mostly in Norway, but occasionally also abroad. We are looking for someone to join us at our office at Hornebergveien 7A in Trondheim.

Who are we looking for?

Candidates should:

• Have an MSc or PhD degree with any of the following backgrounds:

  • Electronics or electrical engineering

  • Computer science

  • Physics or Biophysics

  • Mathematics

  • or related technical field

• Have experience with technical sales

• Be enthusiastic and independent

• Have a good workflow and structure

• Have a desire to work and contribute to a small organisation with a flat hierarchy

Candidates also need to have experience/education in some of the following fields:

• Signal processing/analysis

• Ultrasound, acoustics or wave propagation

• Applied mathematics or numerical simulations

• Image processing / Computer vision

• Machine learning / Artificial intelligence

• Software development or scientific programming (e.g. C++, Python, Matlab)

• Laboratory experimentation
