We are looking for an experienced Concept Study Manager to join our Concept Development team. This team plays a critical role in designing cost-efficient, functional, and safe solutions for new FPSO prospects. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager Concept Development and contribute to BW Offshore’s ambition for growth and innovation.

Location: Oslo (with some travel required)

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-depth understanding of system and area design and be hands-on for all parts of the FPSO technical definition.

• Perform screening efforts and act as technical focal point in early client discussions for new FPSO prospects, in close cooperation with BW Offshore’s Business Development team.

• Define, lead, and ensure quality, timing, and final deliverables for technical concept and pre-FEED studies, including basic design packages for EPC contractors.

• Conduct value opportunity studies and provide assurance for subsequent project phases.

• Contribute to developing technology assessments, work processes, and tools for efficient and consistent concept definitions.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in Concept Development / Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for FPSOs.

• Previous experience as Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.

• Ideally 10+ years of relevant experience within the offshore/FPSO industry.

• In-depth technical knowledge of FPSO overall design, including topside system/area design.

• Thorough and systematic approach, with ability to set priorities in early concept phases to meet deadlines with high-quality deliverables.

• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
