Want to play a key role in a fast-growing and innovative renewable energy player in Africa? Release, a subsidiary of Scatec, develops and deploys a unique and flexible leasing solution for modular solar and battery equipment to the utilities and large scale idustrial power consumers. Headquartered in Oslo and active across several African countries, the company is now strengthening its finance function.
On behalf of Release by Scatec, we are looking for an FP&A Manager who will take operational ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management across the portfolio. The role is hands-on, involving financial modelling, analysis and reporting, and acts as a key partner for management by delivering data-driven insights for decision-making and long-term planning. You will report to the CFO and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to secure robust financial planning and support.
Responsibilities
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure robust financial planning across company and project portfolios
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models at both company and asset level, including scenario analysis and driver-based forecasting
- Maintain and refine cash flow forecasting, and support treasury activities with insight into liquidity needs and constraints
- Own the monthly operational reporting process, including management reporting packages, KPI tracking, commentary, and board-level reporting inputs
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses and provide decision support to the CFO and wider management team
- Partner closely with commercial, technical, and operational teams to understand financial drivers and support business planning
- Translate complex business questions into clear financial insight and structured deliverables
Qualifications and experience
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, FP&A or other analytical finance roles
- Demonstrated, hands-on Excel skills and experience building and maintaining financial models
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow dynamics, and business performance metrics
- Comfortable interfacing with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business
- Fluent in English both written and oral
