Aller Media is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are a leading Nordic media company specialising in digital content with a large and engaged user base. Our platform delivers diverse media experiences, and our recommendation team is pivotal in recommending personalised content to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

The Role:

We are seeking a collaborative and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on deploying and operationalising machine learning models. You will work on developing, deploying and maintaining scalable recommendation systems that deliver personalised content to millions of users. Beyond technical execution, we believe you like sharing knowledge, mentor others and be an over all good team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and fine-tune machine learning models for personalised recommendations.

• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to implement scalable solutions.

• Analyse user behaviour data to enhance recommendation algorithms.

• Monitor and optimise model performance in production.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and new ML technique

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

• +3 years of experience in machine learning, with an emphasis on ML deployment and operations, and a plus in recommendation systems.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with ML frameworks.

• Experience with data handling at scale, big data tools, streaming data and cloud platforms.

• Hands-on experience with ML pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
